Website design for one of France's largest music festivals

The goal

Increasing sales through better UX

Nestled between the lake and the mountains, Musilac is one of France's biggest music festivals!
In 2018, Musilac commissioned me to redesign their website. As the old site was running on Spip, it was high time to modernize the whole thing and offer users a more contemporary experience, ensuring they could find the key information they needed right from the landing page.
‍
Since the visuals change with every edition, the festival's request was simple:
• Redesign the site to align with the visual style and strong identity, while allowing the client to update the site's graphic content each year without needing to overhaul the structure.
• Ensure that tickets can be purchased from anywhere on the site to boost conversions.

Improved performance

At the festival's request, the site was developed on the WordPress CMS, chosen for its ease of content management.
In terms of results, since going live, musilac.com has recorded an increase in performance and average retention time, as well as a higher number of visits to the ticketing page.

Musilac is also a great personal story: after starting as an intern within their organization in 2013, the festival team put their trust in me and kept me on as a freelance digital manager. Starting in 2013, I also began working with the event's official photographers, who gradually taught me the trade. Since 2019, I have had the privilege of photographing major international bands as an official Musilac photographer. A childhood dream come true.
